As we continue to develop new ways to connect as a church body we are launching groups on Facebook to use for gathering specific communities together, sharing resources, offering Bible studies, prayer and connection. If you are a parent of a child age birth-high school this group is for you! Click here to join the family ministry community online.
Families with children are warmly welcome! We love to have children participate in worship and offer activity bags just outside the sanctuary doors for busy hands when we are able to meet in person.
If you need to step out of the worship service with a child, there are chairs set up in the lobby (narthex) for adults and children, with speakers to hear the service. Please do not feel pressure to leave if your child acts up a little bit, however. We want children to learn how to worship with us! While we are meeting in our homes make sure to download a free worship journal to use a tool to help engage your child during the service.
Restrooms (with changing tables) are located at the east end of the lobby (narthex).
When are able to meet in person – all parents and children from birth to grade 5 are welcome to be a part of Jesus and Me time on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Everyone meets together in the school cafeteria for breakfast starting at 9:15am. Enter through the door at Trinity School closest to our Little Free Library. Classes meet throughout the school year. Come and join us for lots of FUN, while learning Bible stories, singing songs, doing crafts, projects, and outreach activities, and learning how to live our lives for Jesus!
Students in grades 4-5 are invited to take part of Kids for Christ during the school year. There are monthly activities and inspiring devotionals intended to help them grow closer to God and to one another, all while having lots of fun! Kids for Christ is currently suspended from meeting as we follow best practices for social distancing in light of the Covid-19 outbreak. Make sure to stay connected through our Family Ministry Facebook group.
Parents and a leader coordinate these activities and do things like bowling, hayride/sleigh rides, caroling, mini-lock ins, and much more. Your student will love it! For more information about Kids for Christ, please contact Sallie Kamps at email@example.com or fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
